About Robert

ROBERT ANTHONY HART

As a performing artist:

Robert incorporates an interesting blend of musical genres into a hip, melodic and syncopated style that is uniquely his own.  His vocal stylings range from George Benson to Sinatra to Sting to Steely Dan to Neil Diamond--just to name a few; and his instrumentals might range from David Sanborn style sax solos to his own version of Miles Davis’ “So What.”  Woven into his amazing performances are a few of his original compositions, creating a fresh, exciting experience for audiences. Robert also has a unique flair for creating orchestral pieces that  would be quite at home as a soundtrack for TV or Film.

Robert  is a vocalist, saxophonist, pianist, flautist, bassist, composer, recording engineer, producer, arranger and a sequencing specialist.

As a composer:

Robert demonstrates an eclectic mix of writing styles from Jazz to Rock to Classical and  yes, even some Country.  "It all just depends on my mood"

"Style is important of course.  But for me, the most important thing is the quality of whatever I happen to be doing at the moment."

"The only way to achieve quality in anything that you create, is to be true to yourself. That is the nature of real art"

Robert records his compositions in a studio that he built himself.

Stay tuned for Robert's upcoming CD scheduled for release during the summer of 2016.
